Welcome to Marsh Harbour, Abacos, Bahamas. At this location we specialize in teaching liveaboard courses on luxurious cruising catamarans. We offer Course A+ Cat, which combines Basic Sailing (ASA 101), Basic Coastal Cruising (ASA 103), Bareboat Chartering (ASA 104) and Cruising Catamaran (ASA 114) into a one week liveaboard cruising course. The Abacos have some of the best sailing in the Bahamas, especially in the winter. Most of our sailing is in the Sea of Abaco, which means protection from winter cold fronts. It may be raging on the ocean, but inside the seas are considerably calmer. Marsh Harbour, the third largest city in the Bahamas, is the center of the Hub of Abaco. Nearby are the settlements of Hopetown and Man of War Cay. South we will go to Little Harbour, which is the home of the family of internationally known bronze artist Randolph Johnson (deceased), his gallery and the world famous Pete's Pub.. To the north you can visit Great Guana Cay, Treasure Cay, and after braving Whale Cay Passage, Green Turtle Cay. If time permits, you may be able to get further north to the quiet and seclusion of Powell Cay and Allan's/Pensacola Cays.

| Base manager and head instructor will be Stephen Cockcroft, an American Sailing Association Instructor Evaluator, Caribbean charter captain, and experienced ocean sailor. He will be assisted by his wife, Estelle. Stephen and Estelle recently sailed the Island Spirit 40 catamaran, Siyaya, from South Africa to South Florida and then to Annapolis, MD. In early December they will sail the boat from Florida to Marsh Harbour to be ready to welcome their students. |
| The price of this course is $1,895 per person, double occupancy. Single occupancy is $2,395. All prices are inclusive of boat, instructor, books, food, certification fees and taxes. |
