| For those looking for heavy weather experience, this is the trip for you. This trip is typically to windward, into the southeast trade winds. The route is highly weather dependent, as it may be due east to 65 degrees west (also known as Route 65) and then due south to the Virgin Islands, or it may be course that more closely follows the rhumb line.
This price includes boat, instructor, provisions, running expenses, customs and immigration fees, tests and certification fees. Not included are alcoholic beverages, personal safety equipment, expenses incurred off the boat, sextant, tables and books. Due to the nature of this course there is no textbook. We will send you a reading list, some of which you probably already have.
